Dr. Kassy McInnes, founder of Elite Equine Veterinary Services, has been passionate about animals and veterinary care from a young age. Growing up on acreage where she and her father bred Quarter Horses, Kassy developed a profound connection with horses. By the age of 14, she had set her sights on becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. McInnes graduated with First Class Honours in Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland and has since built an impressive career specialising in equine health. Over her years in practice, Dr. McInnes has managed thousands of cases, ranging from cherished family companions to elite racehorses and performance horses. Her extensive experience spans equine dentistry, preventive health, ophthalmology, surgery, and complex lameness management, bringing both a caring and expert approach to each case.
